It works by blocking certain chemicals in the brain that tell us we have pain. Acton-OR Tablet SR can be taken when needed, that is when you feel the pain. In general, you should take the lowest dose that works, for the shortest possible time. This will help you to go about your daily activities more easily and have a better, more active, quality of life. In Fever Acton-OR Tablet SR is also used to reduce a high temperature (fever). It works in the brain to prevent the release of substances that increase body temperature and works within 30 minutes of taking a dose. Acton-OR Tablet SR may be prescribed alone or in combination with another medicine.

Acton-OR Tablet SR is an analgesic (pain reliever) and anti-pyretic (fever reducer) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and fever.
