This medicine helps to form a protective coating on the existing stones and helps prevent other particles from sticking to their surface and becoming bigger in size. Keep taking Alkatos 1.4gm Syrup as prescribed to get the most benefit. Eat citrus-rich fruits such as lemons, oranges, etc., and drink adequate amounts of fluids to prevent the formation of kidney stones.
Alkatos 1.4gm Syrup is a urine alkalizer. It works by increasing the pH of urine which makes it less acidic. This helps the kidneys get rid of excess uric acid, thereby preventing gout and certain types of kidney stones.
